This exclusive office building was completely renovated by Gmp in 2005. These renovations were planned by the Lamela studio, the same architectural practice that originally designed the building, and reinterpreted the building by giving the exterior greater transparency, leveraging natural light and reducing acoustic transmission.
Genoa 27 is certified WiredScore Platinum, the highest level of this international standard. WiredScore measures the connectivity and quality of a building’s telecom infrastructure and evaluates five key categories: resilience of telecom infrastructure, digital user experience, fibre optic availability, future-proof design and mobile coverage.
In addition, the building also holds LEED Gold sustainable certification, 4-star AIS (Accessibility Indicator System) accessibility certification and Brain-Protected Space certification. It was a pioneer in obtaining the WELL Health-Safety Rating.
In 2003, Genova 27 received a Special Mention in the 3rd Edition of the Gaceta de los Negocios Real Estate Awards in the category of property refurbishment. In 2006, it received an Honourable Mention for “Best Lightweight Façade” at the Veteco-Asefave Awards.
