At MEETING PLACE, our venues for holding corporate events, we are committed to sustainable management that promotes actions to minimise the environmental impact of our activity, mitigate the adverse effects of climate change and improve people’s health and well-being.
Whenever a company holds a corporate event in one of our MEETING PLACE auditoriums, located in the buildings at Castellana 81 and Orense 34, we will offer to calculate the carbon footprint generated by the event.
How do we do this?
We calculate this by requesting information regarding the number of people attending the event, where they are travelling from, which means of transport they use, how long they are staying, which additional services, if any, have been hired, the type of catering, the printed materials and any promotional items handed out at the event.
We also offer the option of offsetting CO2 emissions generated by events through an environmental carbon offset project certified by international standards.
