oxxeo enjoys a privileged location in Las Tablas, to the north of Madrid, one of the fastest growing areas of business development in the capital.
It is a freestanding building, following an innovative architectural concept that takes the load-bearing structure to the outside of the building forming a latticework, which in turn protects the façade from direct sunlight.
The building has been awarded Platinum LEED certification. In addition, oxxeo has attained the top level 5-star DIGA certification (Hallmark of Level of Accessibility). This makes oxxeo the first newly constructed office building in Spain to be awarded the highest level of DIGA certification for disabled people, senior citizens and pregnant women.
In July 2019, the oxxeo building has been named "Best office building (new construction) 2018” in the AEO (Spanish Office Association) awards.
oxxeo has obtained WELL Health-Safety Rating certification.
WELL Health-Safety Rating was created based on feedback from the COVID-19 Task Force at the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
This certification process entails an evidence-based adoption and monitoring of a plan of measures to assure that the operation and maintenance of the building complies with health and safety standards required by the rating in the current COVID-19 global health crisis and in the long term.
oxxeo has obtained WELL Gold in the category Core & Shell. WELL is the first global certification for buildings focusing solely on human health and wellbeing.
