Its design, created by ORTIZ.LEON.ARQUITECTOS, incorporates vegetation to strengthen the connection between occupants of the building with the natural environment.
Located in Las Tablas, its surface area of 15,790 sqm is distributed over 5 floors and there are 450 parking spaces, including spaces for electric vehicles and bicycles.
ARQBÓREA has been designed following a smart approach aimed at optimizing the overall management of the building, reducing its environmental impact and meeting high standards of well-being, safety and health for users.It is the first building in Spain to obtain SmartScore and WiredScore Platinum certifications. First global rating schemes to apply measurable and objective criteria to assess smartbuildings.
The building is LEED Platinum certified and has launched the WELL Building Standard certification process. The aim is to achieve Platinum level. ARQBÓREA also has the highest level of accessibility accredited by the AIS (Accessibility Indicator System) certification and the WELL Health-Safety Rating certification.
The ARQBÓREA building has received the award for “Best office building (new construction) 2020” from the Spanish Office Association (AEO). Furthermore, the building has been awarded a "Merit Award" in the 7th edition of the CREDAWARD (China Real Estate & Design Award).
