At Gmp, we are committed to integrating sustainability into our financing strategy. In pursuit of this goal, we have set a Sustainable Financing Framework that provides a clear and transparent set of criteria for investing in environmentally sustainable projects and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

As part of developing our Sustainable Financing Framework, we have closed the following green finance transactions:


-We were pioneers in signing the first green loan in the SOCIMI sector in Spain for the amount of €68 million. This financing, which was awarded under the “Green Loan Principles”, was assigned to the Castellana 77 building .


Green conversion of the majority tranche of the syndicated loan renegotiated at the end of 2019 under the “Green Loan Principles”.

-Gmp and the European Investment Bank (EIB) reached an agreement whereby the EU Bank financed us with a loan of 28 million euros to finance the development of Net Zero Energy Buildings, such as ARQBÓREA, and renovation works to improve the energy efficiency of the iconic Castellana 81 building.


We signed the renovation of the green loan for the Castellana 77 building with BBVA, with a 7-year maturity period up to 2028.
