Castellana 81 has been awarded the 2018 COAM Prize for the full renovations on the building. The jury has assessed the work carried out on Castellana 81, as well as its contribution to the advancement of architecture. The COAM Prizes 2018 are part of the programme for the Architecture Week organized by the Madrid Institute of Architects.
The Castellana 81 building won in the “Best Real Estate Development Non-Residential” category in the 15th ASPRIMA-SIMA awards, which are regarded as the most prestigious in the real estate sector. The jury valued the project and the renovation of the building which tried to maintain the essence, the uniqueness and the features of the building and provide the greatest comfort inside.
The building Castellana 81 won the prize for Best Renovation 2017 awarded by AEO, the Spanish Association for professionals, companies and institutions working in Corporate Property Management. Some of the aspects of the building that have secured it this award include its efficient transformation through the renovation of its functional flexibility and comfort parameters. For the AEO, the technical efforts, professionalism and the end result of this full refurbishment serves as an example of how to conserve, recover and update singular buildings that adapt to current and future user needs, quality standards and introduction of installations, technologies, finishes and sustainability criteria aligned with today’s needs.
Castellana 81 boasts the top 5-star DIGA rating (Level of Accessibility Hallmark) for a singular building built before 2010. This makes it the first singular office building in Spain to hold the highest level of DIGA certification for disabled persons, senior citizens and pregnant women.
The building Castellana 77 received the prize for Office Architecture Spain 2017-2018 at the prestigious international awards, the European Property Awards Architecture.
Gmp recognized by the EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) for excellence and transparency in financial reporting, receiving Silver Award.
The building Eloy Gonzalo 10 received the prize for “Best Full Building Renovation” at the 2017 ASPRIMA- SIMA awards, which recognize outstanding actions and initiatives in the sector over the last year. The jury valued how the functionality of the floors has been enhanced and the creation of an open frontage that has radically changed the external image of the building, thereby leveraging natural light to the full and reducing acoustic impacts. Another factor in winning the accolade is the Gold LEED certification obtained by the building.
The building at Eloy Gonzalo 10 won the prize for “Best Renovation 2016” awarded by the Spanish Offices Association (AEO). The AEO represents professionals, companies and institutions linked to Corporate Real Estate Management and, more specifically, to everything related to Offices and Work Centers in Spain.
Gmp won the category of Specialist Fund in Spain for the second year running at the 18th MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) European Property Investment Awards, for its outstanding performance during three years up to December 2015.
Gmp was named Best Real Estate Developer in Spain in the office/ business category by the prestigious magazine Euromoney, in the 12th Euromoney Real Estate Awards.
Gmp won in Spain the 17th MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) European Property Investment Award, in the Specialised Fund category, for its outstanding performance during three years up to December 2014. These annual awards recognize property investment funds and companies across Europe.
